Saffron Terrorism raises its head again...

The stereotype that bomb blasts have to be associated with the militant group in Pakistan or Student Islamic Movement has to be ended as Malegaon blasts expose the presence of terrorist network within our country in the form of the “saffron brigade”. This is a food for thought for all the people in our country that it is time that we look beyond religion to crush out terrorism from our country.

It gives a bad name to India as the probe reveals that the perpetrators of the Malegaon blasts were within our country and were disguised in the form of religious leaders or as saints. Not to forget that an army chief is one among the chief culprit in the blasts.

Another embarrassing moment for our country came when the opposition leader and prime ministerial candidate for BJP came in to condemn the arrest of Sadhvi pragya singh and other accused in the blasts. The party which claims to be the one which opposes and treats terrorism with red hand is now following a crooked path just for the reason that the terrorist in Malegaon bomb blast had the same mean intentions as that of theirs. But it is a shame to our nation when a major political party tries to defend those who are charged with serious crimes. Well, a religious fanatic will always defend other religious fundamentalists.

Babar Masjid demolition, killing of tones of innocent Muslims by police in Mumbai riots(in 1993) and Gujarat riots(2002), Malegaon blasts and this list will keep on growing day by day if we don’t understand the fundamental motives behind these indiscriminate acts of some sects and halt their march towards their ruthless goal. This is really a serious issue that needs to be considered and people should be made to realize the menace created by this saffron brigades which is trying to spread out Hindutva by any means and seriously damaging our country’s secular credentials.

It is high time that associations like Bajrang Dal, VHP and RSS are banned to create harmony among the people. It is time we over look religion while dealing with terrorism, it is time we stop associating our Muslim brothers with every bomb blasts occurring in our country, it is time to check terrorism by any means and the onus lies in us to march towards India free from terrorism.

change is constant!!

I am penning down my thoughts after a long break. A series of changes and some unprecedented events have occurred. Barack Obama swept the US presidential elections and is set to become the first Black president of USA and the whole world rejoiced with a hope for a change. Then Britain rookie, Lewis Hamilton became the youngest and the first black to claim the title in F1 race in the historical final race, where he raced past Timo Glock in the last corner of the last lap in the last race. Automobile industries in US got affected badly in the financial crisis and are now seeking bailout from US government.

Coming to our mother land, India’s success in launching Chandrayaan, its maiden journey towards moon and the success in putting it in the moon’s orbit and the Moon impact probe add feathers to the cap of Indian space program. Then India’s terrific performance in cricket thereby demolishing Australia in the Test match series, yuvraj singh’s back to back centuries against England bring cheers to the cricket fans of our country.

Not to mention about the tragic incidents of violence incited against non Marathis in Maharashtra and the government’s inability to contain the violence. And the downturn in Bombay stock exchange with the sensex falling below psychological 10K mark adds woes to the investors.

Well, this month is a long month for me too with so many incidents churning out. A deep feel of badly missing a close to heart friend, a rat race getting over and new hopes raising for my higher studies next year, jobless periods in company getting extended and much more incidents have happened in the few days. Life is all about changes and change is the only thing that is constant with time. AND I AM BACK WITH MY BLOGS….
